DJ Tommy Scott – Your Dallas Wedding DJ This past weekend, I had the honor of celebrating the marriage of Romali and Jared at the stunning Trinity River Audubon Center , one of the most peaceful and naturally beautiful venues in Dallas. Surrounded by modern architecture, wide-open views, and the sounds of nature at dusk, their wedding day unfolded perfectly from beginning to end. The evening began as guests were welcomed onto the Scissortail Deck for a lovely cocktail hour overlooking the landscape. While everyone enjoyed the view and the atmosphere, the bride and groom spent a little time finishing photos and enjoying a quiet moment before the celebration kicked off. During cocktail hour, we also captured a full round of family portraits—including a big group photo with the wedding party.   I had the honor of providing a Photo Booth for AMWINS for the second time — and once again, it was an amazing experience at one of the coolest venues in North Texas, WJ Ranch in Celina . For those unfamiliar, Amwins is a global specialty insurance distributor that focuses on providing complex insurance solutions through wholesale brokerage, underwriting, and program management — rather than standard retail insurance. They handle key areas such as property & casualty (P&C) , excess & surplus lines , group benefits , and niche or hard-to-place risks . It was great to be part of another one of their incredible events, and I’ve also had the privilege of DJing a wedding at WJ Ranch last year — it’s quickly become one of my favorite spots to work! I had such a great time yesterday at Austin Ranch for DynaTen’s company picnic , which had an incredible carnival theme hosted by the amazing team at Brilliant Events . When I arrived to set up the photo booth, I heard someone say, “ Is that Tommy Scott? ” — I turned around to see Gus Garza , a great Dallas-area event DJ from Your DJ Online . We caught up for a few minutes and took a photo together. Gus later posted online calling me “the one and only” and gave a shout-out to the JAMbulance ! Gus was DJing outside while DJ Kandi kept the party going inside — talk about great energy all around! I also ran into DJ Rudy Duron , who had the Casino Magic tables set up ( durondj.com ), adding even more fun to the atmosphere. The event had everything — a live band, magician, monkey riding a scooter, face painting, balloon twisting, and so many other entertainers. Saturday night, I had the absolute honor of DJing for Butcho and Kari Espinoza’s wedding reception — and what an incredible evening it was! I’ve known Butcho for over 15 years , so when he reached out and asked me to be part of their special day, I was truly honored. The two were married earlier at the Justice of the Peace , surrounded by close family and friends , before heading home to Nevada for an unforgettable Roaring 20’s–themed reception .
